"For the Boys" - Impression Obsession Challenge

Happy Saturday!! This is my card I did for the "For the Boys" challenge on the Impression Obsession blog - here is a link to the blog where you can find the challenge...http://mitrafriant.typepad.com/impression_obsession_news/.  Being a mom of three boys, I'm always game for a masculine card challenge.  Masculine cards can be tricky and it used to be hard to find masculine stamps and papers although I think that kind of stuff is thankfully becoming more common.   Plus, I got some AWESOME new Impression Obsession dies at the Stampaway convention in Cincinnati last weekend and I've been playing with them all week.  I love the detail on their dies!!  For this card - I used the Impression Obsession Birch Trees die (DIE079-U) and the Deer Trio die (DIE080-N) to create my scene.  I love the Deer Trio die because you can use the deer seperately or all together and for this card, I just wanted a lone buck.  I brayered the background of the scene using Adirondak ink pads by Ranger starting with Lemonade, then Peach Bellini and darkening it up with Rust.  The sentiment is from the Impression Obsession Hydrangea Cling set (3123-XL).  I used Nestibilities Labels 8 to shape my scene for the card and then Labels 2 to frame the sentiment.  The patterned paper and twine are both from Hobby Lobby.  Thanks for stopping by!!
