Dipping my toe back in...

It's been about 3 and a half years since my last post - wow!!  And it was about Twilight to boot - yikes - that's a little outdated now, huh?  I'm dipping my proverbial toe back in the blogging pool in the hopes that someone is still out there - lol.  First, I'll start with the card I have to share.  It's a Riley card!!  I will say that stamping with Riley was like stamping with an old friend.  My 8 year old son and I busted into my old Riley stamps  from my design team days a few weeks ago and boy, did we have fun!!  Not only did we color a BUNCH of Riley images together but we got on the Riley and Company website to check out all the new images that came out since I've been out of things and - wow - there were SO many adorable stamps that we had to place an order - hence this Sophie and her seven Riley dwarves card was born...
The images are from Riley and Company - Snow White Sophie and Dwarf Riley - colored with copics and just basic masking with post it notes and repeating images to create the seven dwarves.  The sky was created using the Taylored Expression cloud border die and the grass was just sponged on with some olive colored ink.  The background papers are from a Die Cuts with a View stack - an outdoorsy themed one that I can't remember the name of.  The sentiment is from a My Favorite Things Pure Innocence set.

So what has changed in three and a half years for me??  Not much really - we added another person to our family :) - we were blessed in August 2010 with a beautiful healthy baby boy who has grown into quite the active toddler.  My oldest son is now in middle school (yikes!) and my middle son is now a 3rd grader.  How time flies!!!  Having our third child was really what took me out of the crafting world to begin with and now that he is an independent almost 3 year old, I'm hoping to have more time to dedicate to crafting and sharing.  I've really gotten back into scrapbooking as well which is why I changed the name of my blog because I want to make this blog about all the papercrafting I do - not just the stamping.  I hope you'll come back and visit and maybe even leave with a little inspiration every now and then! ;)

Here's a pic of my cuties to leave you with...
