Happy Thursday!! So did you watch American Idol last night???? Hee hee...you know - I was REALLY trying to kick the Idol habit this year but all it took was a little Idol chit-chat from my MFT Sistahs and before I know it - I'm sucked right back in - LOL!! And can I just say Nick/Norman is a man after my own Idol heart - from the moment he shouted "Doogie" to Neil Patrick Harris in the audience last night - well - I'm smitten - not sure there's an Idol future for Nick (although I think I hear SNL calling) - but I love that he stayed true to himself and stuck it to Idol - you go, Nick!! I'm pulling for you!!! LMBO!! Anywho - I did manage to get a card done for today's MFT sketch challenge - you should really go check it out here - Frances has given us an awesome sketch to work with this week!! I flipped my sketch to fit my "Digital Girl" image - colored her in with Copics and paper pieced her dress with some MFT Houndstooth Digi Paper - I did print my paper at a small size again to scale down the pattern for my image size. The grid paper is from the DCWV Grade School stack - I punched the edge with my new Binder Edge punch from EKSucess (LOVIN' these new punches - BTW). I made my bling-y star by first die cutting a star from red cardstock - then I heat embossed it with red embossing tinsel. I added some ribbon and star brads to accent.
