Makin' a Scene

Happy Friday everyone!!!! So does everyone have their "Twilight" tix for tonight??? I do!!! My sister, my nieces and I are making it a girl's night out and going to see a 7 PM show tonight and I am SO excited!!! I do have a card to share with you today - it's for today's Hanna Stamps challenge over on SCS - today's challenge is being hosted by one of our new members - the super-talented Diana - she came up with an awesome challenge - and that is to use your Hanna Stamps to make a scene! I really took on this challenge head on - I am always so initimidated by the beautiful scene cards I see people make - don't get me wrong - they are BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING - but they look like they just took loads of time, kwim? Well - I am a bad Hanna girl because I have all these beautiful Hanna Stamps sets that have loads of accessories in them that are perfect for making scenes - but have never actually made a full blown scene with my Hannas. I have made little mini-scenes with Riley - but really wanted to go to town with one of my Hanna sets for this challenge. So I pulled out the "Get Well Hanna" set from this past release and just started stamping away and I really like how it turned out. The main image, night stand, flowers, balloon and tissue box are all images from this set. I hand drew the window behind her and the hardwood floors with a Copic Mulitiliner pen and a ruler. The entire image - even the wall was colored with Copics. Oh - except for the blanket - it was paper pieced with paper from the DCWV Nana's Kids stack. ;) I decided to add some dots with my white gel pen to the window to make it look like it was snowing outside - and if you look really closely - I even threaded a reall piece of tissue thru the Kleenex box - I am a sucker for details - hee hee...so anywho - that's my scene for today - I hope you like it - it did take a bit of time to do - but was fun to do and I love the finished product! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend - we are planning on putting our Christmas decorations up this weekend - YAY!!! And to all of those Twilght fans - I wish you sweet Edward dreams tonight - BWA HA HA!!!
