An Elf and An Appletini

So who else had the "OMG - Thanksgiving is a WEEK away!" freak-out this morning?? LOL!! It actually hit me yesterday how close we were to the holidays and how I need to get my butt in gear and figure out my Christmas shopping!! After all - while I love Thanksgiving - it also means that Black Friday is just around the corner too and yes - I am one of those crazy people waiting in line at the stores at 3:30 in the morning in 20 degree weather - yup - that's me - I don't camp out though - I refuse to do that - I'll leave that to my crazy sister - hee hee...love you, Tammy!! ;) Anywho - elves and appletinis for all today I say - I love this image and sentiment from the MFT "Merry Christmas?" set. I used them for today's MFT sketch challenge - another awesome sketch by Cindy - you can view the sketch here. I colored my image in with Copics - the entire image - even the background. The patterned paper is from the DCWV Chrismas Glitter stack - it kind of has a retro feel to it and thought it works well with the martini glass. I used the Martha Stewart Embossed Diamond edge punch for the panels at the bottom of my card. The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby - not sure where the little swirl-y clip came from - I was digging thru my stash this morning for some things I hadn't used in a long time and pulled those out and then some eyelets as well.
