Warm Penguin Wishes

I'd like to start today's post by sending my deepest sympathies to our wonderful boss lady and owner of Hanna Stamps, Kristi Ferro - I am sure most of you know by know that Kristi lost her father yesterday after he suffered a massive heart attack earlier this week. Please keep Kristi and her family in your thoughts and prayers - they have some tough days ahead of them. Kristi - we are all here for you and are thinking of you - ((HUGS))!

The card I have for you today is for today's sketch challenge over on SCS - you can view the sketch here - I started with a 5 1/1 inch square base for my card. I stamped my penguins first on 1 1/4 inch squares - they are from the Hanna Stamps "Penguin Antics" set - I created little winter scence with them - colored them in with Copics and then added snow with my white gel pen. I embossed by light blue panels with the CB Snowflakes embossing folder. The snowflake in the center of the card was stitched - I used one of the snowflake templates from the Bazzil In Stitch'z Christmas set and regular embrodiery floss. The sentiment is from the MFT Stephanie Fizer snowman set and I added a little dark blue button to accent.
